There are a number of live theatre productions to look forward to this month including the hilarious In The Motherhood which is a sharply observed and funny portrayal on the perils of modern parenting. Blue Orange Theatre present Lady Chatterley's Lover which follows the story of Lady Chatterly and her forbidden affair with her husband's gamekeeper.

This is the month of romance and Artrix is screening not one but two special Drive-In screenings on 14th and 15th February. On Valentine’s Day itself you can cuddle up in your car and watch Dirty Dancing and you can do the same again on 15th February when we will be screening Carol.

Sid's Deep Sea Discovery Show will take you and your little ones on an exciting deep-sea adventure. During half-term there will be plenty of swashbuckling piracy and adventures when the hilarious CBeebies trio Spotbots present Treasure Island and Story Pocket Theatre will take you to a land of fables and fairy tales. On 20th February you can join us for a fun drop-in craft session followed by a screening of Finding Dory.

Musical highlights in February include Amen Corner's Andy Fairweather Low & The Low Riders and the Style Councillors.

Hardeep Singh Kohli is back for a return visit. Irish comedian Grainne Maguire who has made global headlines because of her Twitter feed is also taking to the Artrix stage this month. Jen Brister, who has been described as ‘blisteringly funny’ by The List explores what it means to be a gay parent in 2017.

Films and screenings at Artrix Cinema this month include the Valentine's Drive-In screenings of Carol and Dirty Dancing, My Scientology Movie, The Light Between Oceans, Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them and Brokeback Mountain. There will also be an NT Live screening of St Joan and a Royal Ballet Live screening of The Sleeping Beauty.
