Half-term fun
If you’re wondering what to do in Birmingham and Bromsgrove to keep the kids entertained during the February half-term then Artrix is the place to be.
In The Remarkable Tale of Oliver Twist at 2 pm on Sunday 21st February, Red Earth Theatre present a fun, vibrant and colourful adaptation of Dickens’ popular tale. This is family theatre at its best, with larger than life characters presented in the style of a Victorian music hall and is ideal for 6 + years.

Artrix Cinema will also be screening The Good Dinosaur on Wednesday 17th February at 2.00 pm and Saturday 20th February at 11.00 am. . Pixar’s boy-meets-dinosaur movie has some breathtakingly realistic visuals and tells the story of Arlo the Apatosaurus and his friendship with a young boy called Spot.
Last but definitely not least, would-be Elsas, Annas and Olafs are invited to dress up in their costumes and start warming up their voices for a screening of Frozen Sing Along at Artrix Cinema on Thursday 18th February at 2.00 pm.
Don't forget, Artrix Cinema tickets are good value too. Pre 5 pm screenings tickets cost £6.30 (£5.30) or £3.30 for accompanied children under 16. Carers are eligible for a free ticket.
