Marcus Brigstocke is heading up the comedy bill at Artrix this month. This is a show about gratitude and happiness...with just a tiny bit of wild eyed, incredulous, livid ranting. 

Austentatious are saddling the horses again for a brand new Austen improvisation which happens before your eyes. Ballet fans will enjoy the Encore screening of The Australian Ballet’s version of Cinderella. 

There’s a huge variety of music at Artrix this month. Robinson Stone will be performing a tribute to local songwriter Clifford T Ward. English folk singers Lady Maisery will be making an appearance, as will Martin Simpson who is one of the very finest fingerstyle guitarists in the world.

Former Steeleye Span fiddle player Peter Knight will be performing alongside his new band Gigspanner and rock fans are in for a real treat with Martin Turner who will be presenting an evening of classic Wishbone Ash music.

Films and screenings at Artrix Cinema this month include Bridget Jones’s Baby and Alan Bennett’s Diaries Live.
