Louise Minchin is most famous for her twenty year stint on BBC Breakfast’s famous red sofa. 

She has been also the main news anchor on the BBC’s One O’Clock News and News Channel and has presented The One Show and Five Live Drive.

In her television career, she has participated in a number of reality TV Shows, including ITV’s I’m A Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here, BBC’s Celebrity MasterChef and Channel 4’s Time Crashers.

She was the Chair of the Women’s Prize for Fiction in 2023 and has written two non-fiction titles “ Dare to Try“ and “ Fearless “.

She visits Artrix to talk with Linda Mather about her writing career and her debut novel “ Isolation Island “
