Come join us for a night of folk music magic at The Artrix, Bromsgrove!
Immerse yourself in the timeless tunes of the legendary Sandy Denny as our talented performers bring her music to life. In Sandy's brief career she left a legacy of beautiful, haunting original and traditional compositions. Richard Thompson called her - The greatest artist of her generation.
Get ready to sing along to classics like "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" and "Fotheringay", "Rising for the Moon" plus many more. Inspired by Sandy's work and the wider folk, rock and blues movements of the Sixties and Seventies. The band will also perform songs from their own self-penned Albums 'Lady of the First Light', 'Wonderland' & 'Flight of Fancy'.
This in-person event promises to be a night to remember, filled with soul-stirring melodies and captivating storytelling. Don't miss out on this unforgettable experience!
Here's what our audiences say:
"Fabulous show last night. I'd only previously seen the trio at Bromyard in Dec 2019 so it was a treat to hear songs from the new albums. I hope I can make it to Pershore next month". (Jim)
"Absolutely fantastic night guys, though my wife, did have a few tears when you sang wonderfully 'Who Knows Where the Time Goes"...as the song means so much to her" (Rob)
"Another great evening of top-class musicians playing excellent songs. The Julie July Band really are one of the best folk-rock bands around." (Stephen)
